2025 Season Information
SCHEDULE:
- Saturday 1/11, Liberty, depart Einstein High School at 2:10 pm, return at 10:30 pm
- Sunday 1/19, MLK Weekend, Whitetail, depart Einstein High School at 2:10 pm, return at 10:30 pm
- Saturday 1/25, Liberty, depart Einstein High School at 2:10 pm, return at 10:30 pm
- Saturday 2/1, Whitetail, depart Einstein High School at 2:10 pm, return at 10:30 pm
- Saturday 2/8, Liberty, depart Einstein High School at 2:10 pm, return at 10:30 pm
THINGS TO BRING - label everything
- Ski pass (not provided by the club)
- Ski helmet
- Credit or debit card for food purchases (no cash)
- (Optional) Mask for bus and food court
- Thermal facemask encouraged on coldest days
- Warm coat (water resistant encouraged)
- Warm water resistant gloves
- Water resistant Ski pants
- Skis, boots, poles or snowboard if not rented from the resort (there will be space under the bus for gear)
- Ski goggles are encouraged. Clear is best as most of the skiing will be under lights.
BUS POLICY
- Please be on time for departures at Einstein High school and at the mountain.
- We expect everyone behave as if they were at a school event.
- Do not put ski boots on in the bus.
- If a member is riding the bus for one leg of the trip, please make sure to email us ahead of time, or let the bus chaperones know of the change.
ILLNESS POLICY
- Children and chaperones ride the bus at their own risk.
- Anyone exhibiting symptoms of Covid or Flu should stay home and not ride the bus.
- Parents should notify us at kyscinfo@gmail.com if they or their child is ill.
SKIPPING A SESSION
- If you know in advance your child(ren) will not be able to attend a session, please notify us at kyscinfo@gmail.com as soon as possible.
AT THE RESORTS

- There are lockers that can be rented for the evening in the lodge and in the rental area to store belongings. Many are large enough to be shared. Cubbies are also available.
CASHLESS TRANSACTIONS
- All transactions at the resorts are cashless, so birng a cerit or debit card. This includes at their restaurants, ski and ride school, and all other points of sale.
- For the best experience, buy tickets in the fall from epicpass.com. Select the 5 day pass, 23 resort option. Ticket can be booked before each trip but may be limited.
LESSONS
- Lessons are not part of the club plan but can be purchased directly from the mountain.
- Chaperones can help get kids to rentals and direct them to their lessons.
CHAPERONES
Parent chaperones are a critical part of making the club a success. Bus chaperones load and unload buses and take attendance. Driver chaperones need to be available to take kids to a hospital/doctor/home early in case of injury. Chaperones may ski, but the Club no longer receives any complimentary tickets. The Club will reimburse you for your ticket (please purhase a night skiing ticket). Please consider being a parent chaperone for one or more of the trips.
